Performance Management System Development
Background and Client Requests
Our Client was a TOP global company's footwear manufacturing OEM and requested to establish a fair and reasonable performance management system in accordance with the recent rapid growth of businesses. The initial scope of the performance management system construction was for the entire group including overseas subsidiaries, but due to issues such as COVID-19, we decided to build a performance management system limited to the development center of the head office in Korea. We implemented the performance management system by tackling each product development process, as it has a process-oriented operating system not a team-level performance management system.
Key To Way’s Approaches
In accordance with the client's request, Key To Way has implemented a performance management system through the following four activities:
Examine the current status of performance management system and history of KPIs of each division and team
Conduct in-depth interviews to review the past history of performance management system and gather ideas for improvements
Develop a new product development process of the development center in the form of a process map, and derive a pool of KPIs considering the key bottlenecks
Suggest ways of managing the customized performance management system
Outcome
The client has drawn the customized performance management system with Key To Way and has entered the execution phase of a long-term plan to internalize it.
