Background and Client Requests

Client is a memory PCB manufacturer with Samsung Semiconductor and SK Hynix as its customers. The company is expected to continue to expand production due to continuous sales expansion, factory expansion, and new product development, which has increased the importance of co-prosperity through organic cooperation with companies in charge of outsourcing materials, parts, and processes in the cluster. Client wanted to build a cluster cooperation foundation through IT technology throughout the manufacturing process.

Key To Way’s Approach

Key to Way presented four ISP directions through close cooperation with understanding of the client company's process.

• Build Cluster Collaboration Portal (CCP, Cluster Collaboration Portal)

• Introduction of the Production Planning System (PPS, Production Planning System)

• Introduction of Quality Management System (QMS)

• Introduction of Logistics Management System (LMS)

Each direction presented analysis of AS-IS and TO-BE, enabling SMART Factory implementation through AI and big data technologies in the manufacturing process.

Outcome

• Our client established a direction to build a cluster cooperation base through IT technology throughout the manufacturing process and derived ISP strategies based on it.
