The South Korean government launched a plan of an Artificial Intelligence(AI) research and development complex in Gwangju, a city in the south west of the country, to establish an ecosystem for AI industry in 2019. To become Gwangju as Korea’s top AI city, Gwangju was advised by Key To Way to develop vision, strategies and action plans.    

Key To Way’s Approach

Key To Way carried out four major steps to address the client’s requests:

• Researched the use of new technologies in the global education industry

• Designed an education platform model appropriate for the national educational policies and conditions in Korea

• Developed an educational service business model using advanced technologies including VR/AR

• Provided strategy advice on the private investment business and matters on the public value of K-12 education as well as the profitability of the client

Outcome

• Gwangju announced its vision and strategies to become Korea’s top AI city through launching the “Gwangju AI committee”
